Go VIKINGS!

I can now let Justin wear this vikings outfit that his Grandpa Doug bought him because they beat the Cowboys last weekend which is the team we root for in this house. So this Sunday we will be cheering on the Vikings. Hope they make it to the super bowl so Justin can wear this outfit to the Super Bowl party at Jake's.

2 month checkup

Yesterday Karl had the day off so we took Justin to the doctor for his 2 month checkup. I thought he only weighed about 8.5lbs come to find out he was a whopping 9.15lbs and 22in long I couldn't believe it. They grow so fast, but come to find out he is only in the 25th percentile. He's just a little guy. While we where there he also had to get 4 shots 2 in each leg and one oral. He cried when she gave it to him then he was fine, he's a tough little guy.

My Grandmother bought him this little fleece bear suit for Christmas, and his Great Grandma K made him this gorgeous quilt so I thought it would make a cute picture. This my creative side coming out. I think it helps when you have a cute kid.

Justin's Girlfriend

Last Thursday Justin and I went to visit Lindsey and Skylar. We Finally got a picture of them together Justin 6 weeks and Skylar 16 weeks. They are only 10 weeks apart, No telling what may happen in the future. They are so cute.

Pandora?

So for Christmas my mom gave me a pandora bracelet with three charms, at first I thought it was cute but a waste of money however now I am obsessed with it. I bought myself one more charm for Christmas and now have started a wish list so I can fill my bracelet. I think I am obsessed because of the meaning the charms can mean when given to you. Is anyone else obsessed?

Baby's frist Christmas

Auntie Taylor

Four Generations me, grandmother, mom, and Justin

Christmas is my favorite holiday because of the music, I love Christmas music, but my husband hates it the only day he gives in is on Christmas day. But this year things changed a bit because when we would go some where one of us would sit in the back with him so whenever I would drive I would put it on and sing along. He loved it! On Christmas Day we went to my parents and had a big breakfeast and opened tons of presents. We had the big turkey dinner on Sunday because my Grandmother was in town from Tennesse and my aunt and uncle and 7 kids came down to try my husbands fried turkey.

Bath Time!

Big Boy bath

First sponge bath at home

On his second day home we decided to give Justin his first bath. We soon found out that he hated it as you can tell in the first pictur. After his cord fell out it was time to give him a real bath, however that something I was scared to do, so I kept sponge bathing him which he hated. So about a week later my mom was over at the house and he blew up his diaper and it was every where so a sponge bath wasn't going to work. Come to find out he loves taking a real bath.

First Day Home with Justin

On November 22, 2009 we brought our little bundle of Joy home. Justin David Klingenberg. My parents came over and made us dinner and helped us get settled in. I feel I am so lucky to have a really good baby. He only fusses when he is hungry, dirty, or wants to be held.

November 16-21

I would reach 38 weeks on November 19th 2009 I had been having really high blood pressure starting on the 16th with the bp I had begun to get really bad headaches, so my doctor sent me to the hospital to get monitored and to draw my blood. She was worried that I was developing pre-iclampicia. So after going to the hospital on the 16th, 17th, 18th and being sent home all three times. Finally after the 4th time they concluded that nothing was going to help except for delivering him. So on November 20th 2009 I was admitted to Mercy-Gilbert at 12:00 am in which they started 3 gels to help my cervix thin out at this point I was only 30% thin and 1.5 centimeters dilated. At 12 am I had only progressed to 40% and a 2, so they started me on cervadil after that my water broke at 5 am and I was 100% and only 4. So at 9 they checked me and still no change so they started me on pitocin and at 11:15 am I was ready to push. After my second set of pushes my doctor came in to see the progress I was making, I was doing so good she couldn't leave the room, at this point he was coming and she wasn't ready so I had to stop for about 2 min then she was ready to catch baby Justin who came into this world at 11:46 am on November 21. He was 6lbs 9oz and 19.75 long.

I did it!

Since I got my blog all beautified I will now start posting. The reason I started this blog was for family and friends to watch my son grow up. I will start with my birth.

My first post

I guess since I have become a stay at home mom I am starting a blog to help family keep in touch with our son. However i am computer illiterate. So we will see how long I keep up with this
